I think it’s important to remember that these films are nothing more than entertaining corporate products. It helps you maintain a level perspective

I didn’t trash them. I said they’re not my favorite. I don’t think they’re bad, but definitely not my favorite. I enjoyed seeing Tom fight Green goblin more than I did Tobey. Just my personal preference.

So let me put all the good in one post again

• it’s a spider man movie that for once is a reaction to another spider man movie and in no way feels like a marvel event it’s a Sony Disney event film
  -some of the humor doesn’t just feel mcu but reminds you of humor of previous films
• they are aware that plot is over the top at times

• ending overall strong because Peter seeing they are both going to MIT could he quit being spider man and focus on getting into mit and get in ? Yes but he knows then he would become a danger to them possibly leading to both their deaths . Why have mj living a life where she expects the worst partially because of his actions vs where she is happy . She is even happy at work where previously her boss yelled at her about decorations now while she was talking to friends now she sneaking ned donuts and taking time talking to people

• goblin well done even if I think killing aunt may and “ oooo goblin serum didn’t work “ are dumb as s*** moments

• there are certain things in this movie they didn’t let breathe or they just fired off so fast in a way of foreshadowing rather than heartfelt moments

• Garfield emotional speech slaps . Tobey saying he worked it out with his mj feels good .

Do I have to really list everything I liked about a movie to prove I liked it ? If I didn’t like parts of it I wouldn’t be hyped for spider man 4. Nor would I say it’s best of mcu trilogy exponentially
