Multiverse versions don’t need to look different. MCU could end up just admitting some of the stuff from Daredevil did happen in their universe and Daredevil was kinda there the whole time in Hells Kitchen and call it a day.

But for JJJ especially he’s just a different version who happened to pick up a broadcasting career instead of newspaper

This version of JJJ is unique to the MCU. Raimi JJJ would be considered a variant just like the other Spider-Men are variants of Tom Holland

It makes you wonder though why this movie was so expensive ($200M production only). It didn’t have crazy set pieces, and the CG elements looked rough a lot of the time. Sandman for example looked only marginally better compared to SM3, some obvious Green Screen shots, but that’s a problem a lot of Marvel movies have.

Salaries and now I think COVID protocol is going to take up a decent amount of the budgets going forward
