I can’t believe I loved Spider-Man 3 as a kid
I’m watching this s*** rn and it’s hard to watch at times manthere's a lot of things i rly like abt that movie but at the same time holy f*** it is horribly written
also the only raimi movie where it feels like it's so much longer than it actually is yet still feels rushed idk if that makes sense but w/e

I'll give you one of the most obvious points if you stop quoting people with this s***. You'd be objectively wrong to disagree so admitting that you just like the first one more would make more sense.
This one delved further into the 2 minds in one body that Norman has always dealt with in comics. He was fighting for control right in front of us in this. the differences between the 2 was shown off rip with norman straight up taking back control and destroying the mask. SM1 was goblin throughout and it was touched hinted that Norman was trying to fight back but the ending shows you he always Goblin in control. He felt more like a insane person in this. Dafoe acted his ass off in this but that shouldn't take away how sm1 was still a good performance. just not the same
This is wrong though . As soon as the goblin glider kills Him in 1 it’s Norman as soon as it stabs him . Goblin is fighting it the whole time . If anything this movie is weird because he Norman for so much of it then suddenly flips back and doesn’t let up at all. Destroying the mask doesn’t compare to all the mirror scenes or break down that got him there in 1. You can say they are same but to say it’s significantly better because you see both sides when you did in 1 is wild .

Sony f***ed up by requiring Venom but Raimis execution was the worst

MikesVeryOwnOnly gripes with the film were:
- How Ned just gets the ability to conjure up spells despite taking Dr. Strange TIME to learn the same ability
- Why Sandman starts fighting Peter despite wanting the same thing in sending them (the villains) home
the only explanation for sandman is he says he doesn't trust anyone and he wants to see his daughter which still makes no sense for him to fight against spiderman. He saw peter fight for them not to get killed and saw them cure doc ock so how can he not trust them
