I think that's what they are doing. Sony took back control with this movie it felt like. No one in the MCU even knows who Peter Parker is anymore

Like Peter is in trouble with the police and the Feds and then 5 minute later, Murdock appears and is like “okay your legal troubles are over” lol

Wasn’t there some kind of court scene in the trailer? Feel like the beginning was rushed

But I understand. A 2 and a half hour movie was a lot already and they had to make compromise to make the best version of the movie.

A 4 hour cut of No Way Home would have made all his nerds happy but it’s gotta be digestible for everyone

Overall, NWH was f***in amazing.

My only real gripe with the movie was the pacing dawg like that s*** was zoomin'.

That and the post-May death stuff still was strangely campy and I just found that kind of weird like this nigga's aunt/guardian/surrogate mom just died and we still got time for jokes? Granted, they weren't on-the-nose jokes. Tobey telling Ned about Harry was funny, but not in an overtly ha-ha fashion.

The Spider-Men portion was entirely short-lived as well. I felt like a majority of this movie was built not to steal Tom's thunder but they know they could have integrated the other Spider-Men earlier than 3/4ths through the movie bro like come on.
