They slandering you but Makkari fight scenes was crazy tho lmao one of the few MCU fight scenes where you felt the scale of the powers being used

Bringing back S3 Venom made more sense but I think they wanted to balance out Tobey and Andrew's villains

this scene was real cinema

They could’ve had Andrew’s Harry interact with Tobey’s Norman would’ve been interesting

Someone reccommended Life Story which is a great retelling of the major moments in his career

jumping on to his main run is kinda rough cus there's so much history and soft reboots. The story Brand New Day from the 2000's is a good jump on point and kinda has parallels to the recent movie. Peter had recently gotten people (including his wife MJ) to forget he is Spider Man. Then there's big stories to jump to from there

The Superior Spider-Man is dope too. Story where Doc Ock takes over Peter's body and becomes Spider Man for a good period of time lmao

There's also Ultimate Spider Man which takes place when Peter is 15 and tells his story in a different universe leading to the creation and intro of Miles Morales at the end of the series

He was looking like this, listening to JJJ tell the world about how anyone in Spider-Man’s life will end up dead and that chaos will follow him forever

And then the very next scene was Ned/MJ summoning the 2 Spider-Man

Once I knew Toby and Andrew was in this I was worried they were gonna rely too much on nostalgia pandering

Foxx was dead terrible in this flick. Performance and lines were just ass. Plot was iffy but I guess Spider-Man just an ed high school kid so it can be excused partially

Coolest things were doctor strange doing his thing and Murdock appearance

Tbh I would’ve been fine if they brought back a new villain from Andrew’s universe

The problem is I couldn't give less of a f*** about those characters. Even if it was a good technical fight scene. I wont feel the weight if they're not strong characters

Ikarus heel turn made more sense than Sandman’s random heel turn or some of the questionable choices in this movie

Sandman didnt even have a heel turn. He had one goal and that was to get home to his daughter. All he said was Idgaf about fixing us just get us home. That's why he went with Norman
