It’s what made the scene when Peter tried to kill Green Goblin so good.
Tobey catching the glider made me tear up.
He was saving Tom's soul there.
kinda hate having to live with the knowledge that andrew and tobey still got it now knowing that this is most likely the last time we'll see either as peter again
But if this is last time, boy was it a send off.
rewatching Homecoming rn and holy s*** this really a Disney+ movie in comparison to NWH
(still great tho)
NWH pretty much confronts every criticism toward mcu spidey prior to this movie

All the people who were criticizing FFH and Homecoming (out of love - both films are very good, but have issues) really won with this one.

I don’t know why but this movie makes me feel away about FFH. I loved FFH but it really felt like a MCU type spidey this didn’t feel like that at all to me even with dr strange in it. Homecoming was cool being “iron boy” but this s*** made me wish FFH was less of that cause they really got to the real s*** here
the whole thing about peters morality is what made his problem with doctor strange great, this whole movie is about what makes spiderman, spiderman
Man Charlie Cox still the s*** as Daredevil man. I can’t wait to see his series get rebooted or something
Guys, I have never, in my 27 years of life cried during any movie (and movies are my passion)
I wept like a baby when they checked in on me…
they actually checked in on me bro..
Alfred Molina, Tobey
“after all these years, how are you..
-trying to do better”
it was cinema talking to my inner child for the first time since 2004.
checking in on how i’ve been throughout all this time, making me realize i’m still that kid, just the years and life changes around us, sometimes we lose sight of that
wow
i’m not even conveying it like I should
im just touched.. genuinly
"my boy, you've grown up" really hit me in my soul. whole movie felt like a culmination of my youth but once i heard that line i realised just how special and personal these movies were to me. we're so lucky to have gotten this

they did, even though it was inevitable he was going to become his own hero. They just really sold the people who hated MCU spidey because of his association with avengers by making literally everyone forget him
I wish my Grandpa could have seen this. Dude got me into movies and into superheroes. First Spider-Man is like the first movie I remember seeing ever and it's because he bought a DVD player specifically to show my family the movie because he thought I needed to see it.
He was my hero.
They did us right and I'm so grateful.
Tobey catching the glider made me tear up.
He was saving Tom's soul there.
exactly he wasn’t just saving goblin he was saving peter himself
If Franco wasn’t such a weirdo we could’ve seen him and Dafoe reunite smh
WAIT
No wonder Wong seemed to be so in charge at the end of Shang chi. He was the new sorcerer supreme at that point
Still mindblowing that Dafoe is so perfect as Green Goblin that he acted as both the archvillain for TWO different Spider-Men 20 years apart.
The movie that the trailer showcased had me feeling like it was going to be a letdown but nahhh this was a perfect misdirect
This scene is everything to me
when they hugged though
it WAS professor x in the post-post-credits scene i knew it.
Confirmed? I saw some people saying that but I’m not sure what they mean / at which part of the trailer
