If movie proved, even with 2 other spidermen, Tom more then held his own
This movie was the perfect way to end the trilogy.

Sure, Peter kept talking during the spell but obviously it was possible to make the spell more precise in the first place. So, why tf would he not just ask Peter if he wants anyone to still know his identity? He created the problem of Peter interrupting him.
