Andrew really got the worst treatment out of all the Spider-Men when it came to his solo movies and it shows with how positive the reception is for his performance in this.

Its even overshadowing Tobey a bit in reception, which is shocking because Tobey was the #1 reason why people went to the theaters.

I really think Tom came into his own with this movie.

and her dying lesson to Peter actually hit harder/made more sense due to the stakes and the responsibility he was running from

Andrews acting when he saved MJ was OUTSTANDING, but man Tom during Aunt Mays death scene was also fantastic.

Holland imo. Andrew killed it in ASM2 after Gwen’s death, but Tom has had great moments throughout this series

Yeah Hollands acting with Aunt Mays death is probably his best acted scene, closely followed by him getting dusted in Tonys arms in Infinity War.

I’m still in awe from this tbh. That suit at the end needs some high res photos because damn that s*** looked nice from what I saw.

Also him losing everybody was wild kind of depressing tbh.

Another thing I want to point out is Dr. Strange in this movie has his hair styled differently almost the same way as Defender Strange from the promotional merch leak… I may be reaching but idk though that was interesting. Have to go back and watch again.

Can’t believe I saw all 3 gens of Spider-Man together in one film that was f***ing wild, inner child me was going nuts.

One plot hole that I saw maybe someone could explain but when Tobey told Ned about Harry. How was Green Goblin alive and Tobey had recollection of Harry trying to kill him? If Goblin never died in Spider-Man 1 then Harry would’ve never became the Goblin and tried to kill Peter. Harry’s sole purpose of becoming the Goblin and trying to kill Peter was because he thought Peter killed his dad.

I think even though a lot of people are always going to have Tobey as "their Spider-Man", I think after this next trilogy with Tom Holland, he's going to become "Spider-Man" to the eyes of many people, if that makes sense.

PLUS his IW Death, clawing onto Tony for dear life

PLUS him saying Mr. Stark, we won and crying as he realizes Tony is dying

PLUS his little breakdown after being Scolded and his suit taken by Stark after the ship incident

felt just like when he got the snap but way worse

they got pulled from different timelines/universes. Goblin came from the timeline before his death and ned pulled Tobey from the timeline we experienced but in the future

if that makes sense
