Honestly if Ye’s last album would be Donda, I’d be okay with that. The black album cover is a fade to black, what you see at the end of a movie, or even life.
Donda is an achievement that encapsulates everything about his discography in one album- a victory lap of sorts of the various sonic excursions he embarked on between 2004 and 2019. It’s flawed, but what isn’t?

Agreed unless he can return to form and process akin to his first six albums I think Donda is a great closing act. I honestly don’t believe anything anyone says regarding his projects until we hear them haha

Regardless of what people were doing that Sunday and especially that Monday, they found a way to listen to Donda. He had great first day numbers and almost unheard of second day numbers, but then things sort of leveled out and it started dropping.

After that Monday, Donda’s projections actually rose significantly from like 275-300 to 325-350 but by the end of the week it came in under those projections… the album lost steam towards the end and that obviously would’ve also happened with a full seven days. To act like he missed an entire Friday and Saturday worth of his streams is super disingenuous.
