Exercise is absolutely essential to manage behavior. A tired child is obvs easier to manage than one who's bouncing up and down with energy. But I don't necessarily agree that forced exercise should be the direct consequence for an action.

if you go on to beat/hit your own kids then guess what? you didn't turn out fine at all. you're continuing the cycle of abuse and your parents beating you definitely played a part in that

My friend got beaten by his mom atleast once a month for as long as I can remember. At first it was when he came home late and as we grew older it was usually for alcohol or smoking. Still I always thought it was stupid of his parents. Like whats the point of hitting him so often he didnt even care anymore? All his mom did was undermine her authority. If he got beaten he probably forgot about it in a couple of days.

Let me ask you something, if the only thing that comes out of a normally spanked child, not an abused child there's quite a difference, is that they believe in also beating their kids when they grow up what are you complaining about? People will say I ended up fine, and you'll say they didn't because they beat their kids... And what other way are they not fine?

there are people who weren’t disciplined then there are people who are disciplined the right way and then there are people who were hit.

RAISING KIDS ISNT SUPPOSED TO BE EASY

they are still human after all but if you teach them properly grim a young age and give them ways on how to express and communicate it will be much easier to teach them right from wrong.

some kids will be born with learning difficulties so you have to account for that, try to get a diagnosis as early on as possible.

not to make it seem easy but it’s literally kids who are not getting their needs met vs kids with unknown learning disabilities and they’ll both “act out”.
