I was hyped and it had so much potential but unfortunately it wasn‘t that funny imo

I know, but I felt like it didn’t really hit hard enough on the Disney/China connection, like it feels like if you don’t watch that episode right before that the full meaning will be lost on you. honestly I just think I’m tired of the serialization, it makes the show convoluted. I liked it the first couple seasons but since the Gerald Troll season it sucks

This was the first south park episode I ever watched. It wasn't funny, but it was interesting.

Wasn't the best idea to watch this as your first South Park episode.

There are a lot of references in this episode that won't make sense at all if you haven't seen past recent seasons.
And I'd recommended giving earlier seasons a chance when you have time

Season 8 is regarded as a GOAT season, you could start with that

But I'm sure you can find plenty of classic episodes to watch from like season 4-11

honestly I still love the more recent seasons as well with the PC jokes, school shootings, weed farm, and President Garrison/Trump plot.

8-12 probably is the peak but imo its still going strong in 2020
