Alright, everyone. Here we go, I am bringing to you a group that is probably not known to you but I discovered it via a connection to another producer and I found them interesting. There is no background I can find on them. Everything you are getting in this particular drop is their whole discography.

Sins of Satan is a funky group that had 5 people.Jerome Barnes, Jesse Godfrey, John Brooks, Lester Williams, Robin Gentry
Round Trip has almost the same members except minus 1 and add a singer by the name of Oliver Cheatham. (But there is no Dewey and How. That's a joke)

You might like this group & Round Trip if you like Ohio Players, Sly & Family Stone, Mandrill,Commodores,P-Funk,Kool & The Gang,EWF,Bar-Kays,Meters,Billy Preston, Graham Central Station,
Heatwave,War

The group name is rather strange for a black band because of the obvious reason. A record store is going to have reservations about putting that on the shelf. Because there is a certain stigma in communities about "Satan" even if it is meant in a positive way.

So with that said, we have no real bio except for this. Al Perkins (legendary member of One Way- don't worry I'm going to do a drop on that band soon) and Jimmy Roach produced this very talented group. They were signed to the legendary Buddha records and did good with their first album.

But things unraveled quick and their second album was put out by United Artists Records and did not so good. They disbanded and evolved into a group called "Round Trip" signed with MCA & picked up a singer by the name of Oliver Cheatham (Again, another artist who I will be covering fairly soon)

I hope you enjoy this drop and if you aren't already notified, you should be if you like this work. The Link is at the top and there's a good reason for that. It probably cost them their whole momentum, tbh. Retail shelf space is no joke and with a name like that? Black Radio -say goodbye Black Music Stores? You are going to the back row and you will not be near any of the bands that start with S like "Slave"

Here's the front and back art scan of the debut lp.

They killed that stream fast. It wasn't even 2 hours. They killed it while I was stream testing to see if it all went through properly.
