support Black cinema and watch Fatale in theaters instead of this psuedo Black Pixar movie.
It's still a good movie. Watch both
The one issue I kinda had with is I wanted to know who soul-22 ended up being and what Jazzbroski purpose was.

I read something really good about how the movies message isn’t that everyone in world needs purpose but it’s that just enjoying and loving life is good enough or something but I can’t find it

wasn't whole point he was kinda playinf himself by bein too attached to what he thought his purpose is instead of appreciating the beauty of life and living it
I personally didn't care to see 22 on earth after the ending
but given the responses here it could be a great idea for a sequel
Considering that 22 will be born in 2020 it’s better if we don’t know
Tbh, I expected the barbershop to go in waay further on Joe's hair when he took off the hat

That’s the point of the movie bro. Your spark isn’t your purpose, your purpose is living.
The trailer absolutely holds back on what this movie is about and I love it.

I was thinking about how it’s pretty hard to market without giving away all the coolest ideas and concepts

I didn't read a synopsis nor watch a trailer before this
10 min in I was shocked with where the movie was going lol

Going in blind is the best way to experience a movie honestly. How'd you find it

I think 2 days before Christmas I saw the banner on Disney+ (I hadn't used it in some time) and since I was spending Christmas alone this year (covid precautions) I was like bet I'll watch it
I knew it was Pixar and needed some wholesomeness in my life so I was excited for that aspect but I didn't expect everything I got
Adults will have more of a connection with this film than children.
This is Pixar’s most mature film.
A film hasnt hit this hard for me in a long time. I keep thinking about it.
Such a great film. I can see this being 1 of my fav Pixar movies.

Tbh, almost every modern trailer is guilty of this. Hard to find a trailer that can generate much interest while being mysterious, unless it's Marvel or something (not a dig at them, just they're a brand at this point)

I absolutely adored every scene Joe shared with his mother.

This isn’t an issue that plagued the film thank god cus black people were obviously in the room for the making of this film but it is a weird trend with Disney unfortunately. Princess and the Frog is prob the most flagrant example
This film in all was a massive step in the right direction tho even in the animation of black people
Didn’t really realize this trend til I was talking with my gf (she hasn’t seen this movie and doesn’t know the synopsis) and she mentioned she hoped they didn’t do this lol.
Twitter always gonna complain tho . It’s not a site that generates positivity and it only really represents a small amount of opinions
