They go on sales currently but I’m if Im Sony or Insomniac why should the Wolverine game for instance ever lower its price if it’s only digital? Someone decides they want to play it 5 years after it releases there’s only one way they can get it

Reread the press release, they specifically state that they're going to continue selling new games in retail stores, meaning they're gonna do the GTA VI thing where they sell you a plastic box with a digital download code inside of it

I don’t think every store is going to be fine with selling codes in boxes while stores have to be one to deliver that messaging . Also risk physical in store costing even more
