All that matters.
They’re bringing Kendrick and Drake Stan beef into the death of physical game media thread
Some people can discuss topics and ideas
Some people can only discuss other people

Sony will have a disk to digital program too
They were charging $10+ to upgrade from ps4 to ps5 versions.
0% chance they give out a free digital copy
Your point is moot if it applies to literally any other tangibly-owned item. It's not a specific-reason as to why physical games should be phased out to prioritize digital
There’s no logic in this statement
How is my point moot if other things can be destroyed
That’s such a weird stance to take when most tangible possessions don’t have a digital version
Again, part of what’s so devastating about losing a game collection is how expensive it is. Other stuff you lose in a fire or flood or whatever is likely cheaply replaceable, I’m just talking about what would really hurt your pockets.
Books was your best counterpoint but even books aren’t worth much and they aren’t as “replayable” as games so often I read a book once and don’t go back to it anyways. If I genuinely lost all of my books I might rebuy a couple but overall it’s nothing to cry over.

"Don't eat apples, you can choke on them"
"Don't ride bicycles, you can crash and die"
A book collection can easily be just as expensive if not more expensive than a game collection
Been saying playstation has been dog s*** lately f*** em
Gaming has been*
Xbox and PlayStation used to compete who had the best games. Now they compete to see who can make the worst headlines for the week.

Nope. I’ve never spent $70 on a book
If you buy 10 games brand new that’s $700, gaming collections can easily become very expensive in just a few years of collecting

We had it good for a while at least
(Back when physical was dominant)
Be careful, they’re gonna come after you and tell you to kill yourself because it’s pro-corporation to not want to sleep with a disc beside you every night
But the issue isn’t what you do it’s thinking of the others

Okay I have 2000 books in my library. Will you ever have 2000 games
I’m just talking about the strengths of digital
But it's not a strength if the home that your digital collection is housed on can also be destroyed, thus having to essentially be repurchased to access
You're acting like you can play your digital games without a console
Alright I came in here thinking this was inevitable, but now I’m glad it’s happening. F*** all of you. So pathetic that a discussion about media formats made you all descend into “kill yourself” and making memes about earthquakes when a bunch of people just f***ing died last week in one
Bro bringing up earth quakes because a single user showed you hate
