Imagine constantly creating arguments about s*** just to argue. Literally never said that. Stop replying to me, you’re embarrassing yourself. You’re all over the place
I didn't say you said it nigga
im more anti-drm than pro physical but it should still exist
I didn't say you said it nigga
So don’t bring it up then? It literally had nothing to do with the point I was making or the conversation at hand
What if you get banned
What if the publisher takes the game offline and revokes all access keys to the software
What happens when no internet
You are leasing a license to the game, not the game itself
In a world without internet there is bigger problems, society collapses
It seems easy to not get banned since I’ve bought digital games for decades and have never been banned lol
Again, no publisher has done that with any games I own and I can still download my Wii digital purchase from 20 years ago even with the eshop closed so I doubt that’s a problem
Even with a disc you’re leasing the license
lol
I feel like they’ve just been waiting on Rockstar to make the first move to soften the blow because they know it’s going to piss people off

I don’t get how with a disc I’m renting a license can you explain that please.
I've been hoarding SSDs and HDDs for this moment, writing has been on the wall for the last few years with smaller stock on shelves and stores closing down in my area.
That’s not the point at all? I’m just talking about one thing, video game collections, which are expensive and often huge
It’s not like you’re gonna be able to gather your hundreds of plastic boxes and run out with them. But you could grab a few essentials like your laptop, phone, ps5, then run out the door
If all your ps5 games are digital then you just saved $5k or whatever an average collection is worth
I promise you if your house is burning down you not grabbing anything besides loved ones and pets
So don’t bring it up then? It literally had nothing to do with the point I was making or the conversation at hand
You were talking about why Jim Halpert has that belief about people who own physical, I was providing you an example of something that was said in this thread that he responded to
90% of players use digital.
Yep. Convenience will always win
sony is 100% going to increase ps plus prices when gta online update is announced
Why wouldn’t they
I don’t get how with a disc I’m renting a license can you explain that please.
You can look it up and read more, I don’t know a ton about it but legally you don’t own the game, the disc just gives you access to a revokable license.

I don't mean apocalypse level no internet on earth lmfao I'm talking about what if you go on vacation or have an outage

It’s an overall belief that he brings up in pretty much any thread. It’s not gaming specific. Stop pretending to be others lawyers and stfu already. All you do is yap and waste peoples time
A library of 100 games is worth way more than that
Also can we chill with $1000 like the ps5 isn’t $500, stop bolstering your argument by making huge mathematical leaps lol
The PS6 will be closer to $1000 than it is to $500
In better news I'm actually at a Norwood 2 not Norwood 3

Ai moderation to PlayStation parties soon come, you better not say nothing uncouth
Games do it, mostly online ones, but yeah. Only time owning a disc is a lease is if you have a dead online game on a disc that just won't load because it doesn't exist

~ guy who entered the thread to start arguments with people he doesn't like because they have different opinions about Drake music
just wait till they charge you to redownload s***
oh you wanna access ps3 library downloads well thatll be a legacy access fee
I don't mean apocalypse level no internet on earth lmfao I'm talking about what if you go on vacation or have an outage
Oh lmfao. Well you’re still good then, it doesn’t need to connect to make sure you own the digital game or anything like that.
You wouldn’t be able to download new games until you’re back I guess, small downside. But on vacation it’s not like you’re bringing your physical collection with you so it’s basically similar drawbacks in that regard.
The PS6 will be closer to $1000 than it is to $500
Well ok if your console in that expensive then in a fire or natural disaster or something you’d be able to run out the door with it at least, but actually removing all the physical boxes from your bookshelf and carrying them out is not as feasible in an emergency

I put the disc in and it plays. I’m talking pre ps5 here
