I actually think there could be truth to this though.
It’s pretty likely Sony told Rockstar ahead of time that the PS6 would be digital only.
So releasing a physical version of GTA6 is a little pointless in the long run because the game would be unplayable on the PS6

Still sucks there won’t be a physical version, but if Rockstar had knowledge of a digital only next gen console, I could see why they’d just skip out on physical’s entirely

I’ve pretty much been all digital for this current generation, but I do have the ps5 with a disc drive still. Hearing about how Sony is deleting movies that were bought and paid for, due to licensing issues, doesn’t make me celebrate this or feel indifferent. It will most likely push me towards piracy. Been wanting to get a jail broke ps5 anyways
