It’s interesting to me how artists will release slightly different versions of their songs within music videos, curious if y’all know of any you prefer
Few examples:
@3:20 different verse on Smooth Criminal

@3:00 added bridge (idk if I am even using that term right) on Katy Perry’s ET (feat Ye)

@3:13 David Lee Roth screams “OoOOHHH” after the keyboard solo & the effect is pronominal. Ironically, the official Van Halen channel removed this scream & folks commented about it immediately, crazy

@1:08 Eve verse on Jadakiss’ We Gonna Make It (feat Styles P)

Idk why but jeezy’s verse is different and much better than the album version. Only downside is being censored

Word I’ll listen to both versions & give you my thoughts
Jay Rock - Vice City (ft. Black Hippy) extended Q verse comes to mind. Dunno why they didn’t include that version on the album imo

additional bridge went unreleased til the deluxe

hella extended
drake - hotline bling has the beat kick back in in the outro which i wish the album did
na that eve verse aint it ngl. not bad jus felt mad extra
jay rock edited "the ways" so many times removing and adding verses and s***. iirc the video is still the og which was gr8
keri hilson doing some adlibs and backup vocals on here that really add to emotion of the song / arent present on (at least) the streaming versions of the track
apparently the song was recorded w a long ass intro kanye verse too so ida been intrested to hear that 1 too

version on I Promise I Will Never Stop Going In has a very different mix compared to music video, it got rid of a lot of vocal effects & beat drops
