OPkenpachido what makes you happy, please stop relying on others to share moments with otherwise you will always stay right where you are. You can have solo memories that you thoroughly enjoy without anyone ever having to know about it. Also get off social media, that s*** is all flexing in 2026 and you’re basing your reality on other people’s wins and not their losses it took to get to that vacation. Learn to love yourself
Very true. I had someone in my fam recommend for me to start going places by myself instead of waiting for other people. I have realized that time continues to go on and if people are serious about a trip they’ll make a way to go.
I’ll be 30 very very soon and to think I have never been to a nice beach or a fun place is just insane to me. It feels like there’s an entire layer of life I haven’t experienced by being so secluded, and trying to wait for the right time for everyone.

Go live and do it.Theme parks by yourself is incredibly freeing. It’s like the movies. Can eat whatever, can leave whenever, do whatever.
Throughout the summer I went to a few local amusement parks by myself and it was refreshing and relaxing. I did enjoy the aspect of doing whatever whenever I wanted. However, I did get a bit lonely at the water park. Many of the water rides required 3+ people and the lifeguards paired me with random people and it felt so awkward not having anyone to ride with on the best rides.

heraldidk that disney world is rly the best place to go solo, especially if ure already self conscious about it and just getting back into vacationing. u seem to concede as much
finding somewhere else (adult oriented theme park/domestic excursion/abroad to a diff country/etc) that meets the needs you would’ve experienced there and feels more comfortable visiting alone is key. then u can revisit this idea when you’re more confident and have a committed group to go with

That makes sense too. My fam is really big on Christmas and decorating, so I know if I go I’d keep taking pictures and doing video chats to show them all the cool designs and it would be very bitter sweet. I had planned out all the restaurants/best rides/activities for each day and it feels like this Disney trip will never happen.
