i agree with the statement god is dead and we have killed him, in the sense that western capitalist societies have placed the accumulation of wealth and maintaining of profits over their own morals and the well being of all within a society. Capitalism has led the worker class to become disillusioned with the idea of God which creates a void within them where they either lose hope for themselves and humanity or begin to lose morals and chase after material and money to try to fill said void. In conclusion western capitalist society has killed the idea of true freedom and God within those who live in it and good character is only utilized when profit can be made.

it also has disconnected us from nature and just the fact that we don't need all this extra s***,
its really better for us to be connected with outdoors, and have a general respect/compassion for others, know where the things we buy or use come from and make the most use out of them
we're too caught up in fast throwaway products instead of just getting what we need and living more modestly than gluttonously

it really depends on what you're defining as communism but I guess they're one of the go-to examples of what it may look like...
It's made more confusing by their economy, i guess even though they have the CCP, doesn't mean their economy is communist necessarily? idk
I feel like nations call themselves socialist or communist the same way people say "democracy" even though its a lot more convoluted and more of a republic or whatever else u wanna call it
its just the term that plays well in whatever region and they stuck with it, even if it needs elaborating upon,
