The idea that we need to be even more PC for “the sake of the movement” is just dumb. In fact, it’s just completely ass backwards and the complete opposite is true. One of the main reasons the left is so impotent is precisely because we have put so much focus on relatively meaningless, micro cultural battles instead of developing a militant, political movement aimed at opposing the state and capitalist class

You know how many times I’ve seen orgs and initiatives fall apart because people get in some dumbass beef over language and wokescolding s***? This would be a discussion if we had an actual movement worth anything, but these dumbass discussions almost always self terminate whatever germs of “the movement” crop up before there ever is one.

The ironic part is it’s always the wokescolders who do the least in terms of actual organizing too despite their railing against theory and how we need to “be pragmatic” ad nauseum

Honestly I think it comes down to the fact that most these types are insecure about being unable or unwilling to do actual organizing work, so they justify their own ineptness by engaging in this type of s*** to feel like they’re doing something, and provide excuses for the fact that they are actually doing nothing

Some of the s*** just eats up unnecessary time too. I went to some meeting here, in German languages, and they asked everybody to tell their pronouns - everybody was cis, as statistically expected, everybody used the same exact pronouns you would expect them to use by just looking at them, and even worse, people told their ENGLISH PRONOUNS, in a meeting that was entirely conducted in German. IDK what the f*** these guys were thinking
