(On my father)His entire life the constraints of capitalism have hindered him but he has continued to overwork himself because that is what capitalism does to our condition. It makes overworking seem like a good issue to have because of how resilient one may be; but it is depriving one of true freedom in exchange for servitude to the Bourgouise.
This depressing reality is one we all accept once we become active participants in capitalist society. We work for a company where we have no personal ties, for a job that may be completely impersonal to you for a check that barely covers your rent. Without collective power over the bourgeois, this oppression will continue to hold dominion over the proletariat.
