you might be interested in reading about Capitalist Realism - the idea that the ideology that arises from capitalism necessitates that capitalism is the only possible economic system - or about historical materialism - the scientific theory of how societies and their modes of production have evolved throughout history, and the mechanisms for which such evolution happens.

Lol "Capitalist like" doing heavy lifting here, but what you said is no different than saying people have always lived under Capitalism which they haven't. Human history also isn't a linear path of advancement either. Cycladic Greece gave way to the greek dark ages, the Roman Empire gave way to medieval Europe, etc. Even within the same social formation society goes through ups and downs. Even transitioning to a more "advanced" mode of production (Feudal/Tributary to Capitalist) can actually reverse social/technological progress.

We are not always progressing and we're not stuck in a loop. If you want to make the argument that whatever happens humans go back to something, why would it be Capitalism anyways? Surely we've lived longer as hunter gatherers and under feudal/tributary states. Hell some feudal medieval societies had Capitalist interludes.

You actually don't seem to know much about humans at all, our behaviour changes changes dramatically across time and space.

As I said most Dutch have no idea of their history or cultural backgrounds. Ask a 20 year old to name 3 Dutch writers who were active before the 2000’s. Pretty much no one will be able to answer it.
