It was one of the stated reasons in the Clinton emails

think the mails said they already decided to get him killed before they knew about the gold dinar but that was just one more reason to do so, maybe that reason got more countries on board tho idk

-business deals with the rebels to have france takeover most of the private economy in the post gaddafi libya
    -get sarkozy ratings up
-get more influence in north africa + get the french military back to business
-get 300 million dollars from qatar for the operation

We’re bombing schools to limit civilian casualties

difference between a school getting hit by accident and trying to kill the kids cause theyre kosovar

my assumption is he's saying that retroactively we can now say we prevented a genocide which is also part of my point, no one intervened with the thought of stopping a genocide, they intervened because of geopolitics

the US army is the greatest force for good in history.

the african currency theory is probably cap tho, there were a lot more reasons france and qatar wanted him dead

it didn't help and was something which was cited in clinton emails for example (as @Scratchin_Bandit said) but realistically there's no way Gaddafi could have pulled off a pan-african currency anyway that successfully.
When it came to "pan" anything movements, Gaddafi was definitely an opportunist, and that was his biggest weakness. He had a lot of good ideas in organizing and running a state, but it was really just arbitrary pragmaticism - the same reason he was fine with not completely distrusting the west. For example, the only reason he pivoted to pan-Africanism and writing about the future of Africa to begin with in the green book was because his attempt at Pan-Islamism, Pan-Arabism, & MENA unity all basically completely bombed in succession years earlier.
The killing of Gaddafi was less of a direct conspiracy to stop pan-Africanism in a literal sense and more of a conspiracy in a general sense to retain foreign access to Libyan raw materials (esp oil), retain security along with mediterrenean, and increase both influence and power of west bloc aligned countries throughout Africa. I'm pretty sure the French government basically has documents saying they wanted Gaddafi deposed because he was de-coupling Africa from French influence and they found it unacceptable. All the banking & currency stuff obv didn't help, but that's not really why they overthrew him, it was a lot more direct and out in the open that they just didn't like a rapidly growing country with a lot of power challenging foreign interest & influence in the region in whatever manner possible, regardless of all the currency & pan-whatever stuff.

this one you mean? it was to the Arab League

unfortunately Gaddafi was a bit of an opportunist with Palestine as well. he later pivoted away from full Palestinian support and instead started proposing mutual solutions with Israelis. him saying he wanted a united country called "Isratin" was wild of him

Gaddafi's relationship with Israel was mixed. In the beginning he helped send Libyan Jews to Israel, but stopped once he started cozying up to the Arab League. Israel voted in favor of Libya being recognized as a UN state despite Libya being an Arab League country, and during the following Six-Day War & Yom Kippur war, the two countries obviously opposed each other. However, over time, Gaddafi warmed up with Israeli Diplomats, and even attempted to create formal diplomacy between the two states near the end of his leadership - he even tried to open embassies in Israel, which of course Israel rejected. This is around the same time he stopped advocating for Palestine.

Idk if i’ll find much in english but here’s a starting point

    en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alleged_Libyan_financing_in_the_2007_French_presidential_election

I’ve seen forums from 2011 where libyans discuss their state tv channels announcing the government will expose a secret that will take down sarkozy, they were teasing it

Sarkozy has so many crazy political scandals but the most fascinating one is the Clearstream 2 scandal where ironically he was 100% innocent lmao

There's gonna be an investigation about operation GLADIO in the Netherlands @Y0rn

    https://www.dutchnews.nl/news/2022/08/probe-into-secret-resistance-group-set-up-to-stop-cold-war-invasion/

The government has commissioned a study into a group of hundreds of volunteers who were recruited during the Cold War to defend the Netherlands against a potential Russian invasion. Relatives of the Stay Behind group, as they were known, have been calling for years for the government to release its records on the group’s membership and activities. Between 1945 and 1992 several hundred citizens were recruited into the secret resistance organisation and given training, with orders not to tell even close relatives about their work. They were also responsible for dozens of caches of weapons, some of which fell into the hands of criminal gangs after the organisation was disbanded. When some of the guns were used by members of Willem Holleeder’s gang in the 1990s, the government covered up the theft to stop Stay Behind’s existence coming to light, the Volkskrant reported. The Netherlands Institute for Military History (NIMH) has now been asked to compile an inventory of documents about Stay Behind and interview surviving witnesses. The institute is due to report back in October, after which the government will decide whether to order a wider investigation. Opening doors Relatives want the government to acknowledge both the group’s work and the tensions that it caused in families who were implicated. Some families only found out that a relative had been recruited after they died. Hadewych Jansen op de Haar, whose father Gerard Pelt was a member of Stay Behind, said: ‘We hope that this commission will actually mean the NIMH can open doors that until now have been closed.’ Pelt spent 30 years as head of sabotage in the operations division, during which time he made notes of around 40 locations where weapons including bazookas were stored underground. Prime minister Mark Rutte and the then defence minister Ank Bijleveld broke the official silence on Stay Behind in February 2021 in a letter to relatives on behalf of the government, in which they praised the ‘impartial, extremely conscientious, and professional’ work done by the group ‘in the interests of our kingdom’. ‘This caused considerable tensions in many families and enforced restrictions in the personal and family environment. Their efforts deserve the highest respect.’

Very interesting. If i hear more from it, will let you know

Not wrong but it was even worse a few years ago in the mainstream. Trump running and winning legitimately melted some people’s minds beyond any repair. Lib rhetoric was absolutely unhinged. Unhinged political rhetoric still the case in the US but it’s a lot more confined and online imo vs like 2016
