I know nobody actually gives a s*** about the "rules based international order" or "internarional law", and it sucks anyways, but its kinda funny how little regard its enforcer (the United States) has for it. Some absurd episodes

• Shutting down the World Trade Organization's dispute settlement court because the WTO ruled against the US.
• Claiming "diplomatic immunity" and sending a CIA agent back home after she got drunk and crashed into a British teen.
• Kidnapping and detaining and Chinese national on Canadian soil for violating unilateral American sanctions on Iran which even Canada doesn't recognize
• Refusing to sign the UNCLOS because the US Navy has "Freedom of Navigation", then threatening sanctions against China for violating the UNCLOS.

UN bodies the US refuses to even sign

• International Criminal Court
• Convention on the Rights of the Child
• Most International Labor Organization conventions
• ICRMW (Migrant worker rights)
• Prevention of an Arms Race in Outer Space
• The Ottowa Treaty (Ban on landmines)
• UNCLOS (Laws of the Sea)
