Saw someone seriously retweet this. Yes, anarchist. Yes, twitter.
anarchist twitter be like "When i say ACAB yes i mean my parents"

as opposed to what, the thriving and stable Gen Z of America?
Not thriving but I'd say they're doing way better

I mean yeah the US is a richer country
But the prospects of China's future definitely looking brighter than those of America
Chinese gen z will have better lives than their parents did, def not the case for American gen z, it's pretty much downhill from here

would put them on the same level tbh, don't really see what factors make chinese youth worse than american equivalents

as far as QoL goes, economically yes for chinese gen z (more than not), socially definitely not.

Higher unemployment and lower wages
Higher unemployment and lower wages
Isn’t Gen Z in the US facing the same thing though? Even higher wages in the US are minimized by far higher cost of living; higher paying jobs in coastal cities for example don’t make up for heightened cost of living?

Well obviously they're facing the same problems but the Chinese have it worse is my point. Youth unemployment is twice as high and the low wages aren't as offset by lower cost of living since jobs are concentrated on their expensive coasts and the situation is aggravated by hukuo. This trend is shifting with rural industrialization making it so jobs are appearing in the cheaper interior, but most still have to go to the coasts.

You mean economically better for US socially better for US?

i meant like chinese gen z might be better off economically than their parents to some degree but they're a lot more alienated/worse off socially than their parents

Thank you Deng, very cool!
Would be interesting to see how the american media would cover EU political shambles if it was a geopolitical adversary
Higher unemployment and lower wages
On the other side, a lot of them can live with their parents or in very cheap dorms and they don't have student debt really

I'd rather be Chinese Gen Z than Amerikak if I had to choose barring a few provinces

I wonder what the endgame of Haz looks like
