still can't believe anybody upholds gonzalo when he FAILED
regardless of the other stuff (which may or may not be a big regardless) he didn't even succeed
There’s a great deal to be learned both from failure and success
how to deal w feelings of hopelessness
Do something about it IRL is probably the easiest way.
Take a break from reading and consuming political content too. I have been on a hiatus for the past 7 months now, instead of learning about theory and history I just decided to hone in more on langauge learning.
F***ing "Border and Rule" by Harsha Walia just broke me man, that s*** made me depressed for like a month and I was like I desperately need to change something about this.
It's good you get hopeless, depressed, w/e, bc it shows you care. Many people aren't like that comrade

Whats some good afghan food brother
Are you familiar
Mmmmmmmm I could go on for days
My favorite finger food is bulaani which is basically a flat, fried pastry with a potato/green onion/pumpkin filling, depends on what you want
There’s our variety of rice and meat dishes. I like Kabuli which has flax seed, carrot, and raisins with either beef or chicken (vastly prefer beef)
We have shorwa which is basically a beef stew filled with afghan bread, potato’s, tomatoes, some onion. You eat it with bread which funny cuz ur picking at bread WITH bread
We do aged salted meat called landeé. It’s beef that’s usually aged and salted for a few weeks and then made into a rice dish
Mantu, a dumpling with beef and onion and covered in a salted and garlicy yogurt and a sauce of stewed lentil. Topped with dried mint
Ashaak is the same dumpling but with gandana (a leeklike vegetable from Afghanistan)
