One of the first dates my now wife (we were friends at the time) and I had was going on a run in the park. I always wear my "fuck white power" tank top when I go running, and she was totally cool with running/walking (she has asthma) next to me wearing it, that's when I was like "she's the one."

im writing an empirical paper about the effects of neoliberalism in latin america, looking at QoL indicators before and after the liberalization of economies
this is the general tentative idea, to empirically show the disastrous effects of neoliberalism in Latin American countries but im not sure how to execute it and honestly i have no motivation for school rn so if yall have any ideas/advice it would be greatly appreciated

Elon musk’s open support for the deposition of a South American democratic government is a good start
Shows the context of businesses having further capital to potentially influence the government without predicated legal oversight anymore

my professor said to focus moreso on just the empirical effects/outcomes rather than intent or motivation. so its more "empirical" and less theory oriented, which is lame
for example, not "why did the US support regime change in LatAm" but "what were the effects of regime change" if that makes sense
@americana how you been arguing with this nigga all day bruh he's completely detached from reality

Or neoliberal era vs pink tide era

We can empirically link the economic policy of Ronald Reagan and the early days of neoliberalism to the incredible increase in corporate influence of the government. I can’t think of direct examples right now. Understanding this, we can link the increased corporate influence to backing of politicians that further loosened regulations
Do you think there’s evidence to directly link their power to their ability to cooperate with the military-industrial complex, and then directing the state in their interest, and then wielding the complex as a weapon ?
