How socialism is to be properly utilized

well basically its the liberation of the working class from the vices/exploitation of capitalism. shifting the means of production to the workers instead of the capitalist class

    Thank You

I do reccomend googling the titles and reading prefaces on works wherever you can find them, just so you have some historical context on what you're reading. You'll find that to be important as you read on.

@KimJongUn been reading Origin of the Family, and it's fascinating, but it seems incredibly outdated/reductionist on a lot of the anthropological aspects. engels has some really clever insights here and there though.

for a treatise in 1884 though, it's pretty darn good

you need to supplement with modern works, but the basic thesis that reproductive labor becomes indentured servitude which translates to unpaid labor is brilliant and forms the entire basis for meaningful feminism.

do you want people to be liberated from capitalist-imperialism? then you're a socialist. you just need to actually read.

overall, a really interesting read, so thanks for the recommendation.

i'm excited to check out Scripting the Change next. seems to be that she's more of an "orthodox" Marxist (?)

    Synopsis

why cant you figure it out

Just can’t tell if my beliefs fall under socialism

    In short

I believe that workers should still own the means of production

I believe in the State owning the property

I still think their should be some incentives for business owners who put their money on the line but still be very heavily regulated.

People should have the right to own guns

    Very Environmentally conscious

Very High taxes on the wealthy

interesting, but makes sense. I'm not big on mao, but if it focuses on gender, I think I'll enjoy it regardless
