it is a socialist country
there's lots of good reading about this
I've read some, even some of Xi Jinping's own writings, but I just don't buy into the whole 70 years long NEP thing bro
学习习近平好榜样
Honestly interested in reading it and how he is trying to reconcile Marxism and the idea of private property.

thats not what is going on china i dont know who told you that; the country opened itself up to investment in order to gain access to world markets and foreign currency (which can be controlled without leading to capitalism); key industry never fell out of worker control though and its this sector of the economy which is dominant; as in, the rest of the economy is structured around it. obviously this leads to issues which have to be solved in the future but you can't acknowledge China's development and poverty reduction compared to another large industrial nation like India and think that this is the product of capitalism.

workers there get lower wages than in the united states. it's not socialist.

being a developing country doesn't justify or explain foxconn city

you're being mislead by a piece of propaganda. china has a workforce of 800 million people and you're hung up on what a single foreign company is doing, or at least was doing, because foxconn is moving on to countries like india. the only reason foxconn does what it does in the first place is because taiwan's capitalist class grew parasitically off the chinese mainland.

if only someone proposed a system china could use that would prevent a capitalist class from spawning altogether.

is it or is it not what Russia had over 30 years ago?
why does it have to be resemble the soviet union, china was never exactly like the soviet union at any time since the revolution
anyway, the economy is still driven by the communist party and the public sector, it predominates over the other modes of production in the state. if china was capitalist it wouldn't have been able to grow in such a positive direction with poverty constantly decreasing.

Reading this article further affirms how important it is to be a Marxist in Social and Political a***ysis. They clearly showcase how the material base is the interest of the Imperialists and they will do anything to delegitimize China's efforts of economic development.
so lately i've been looking for alternatives to amazon to buy my books and came across this while looking through twitter

Been watching documentaries about the Kim dynasty. Extremely interesting. I give props to the people of NK for fighting against Japan. I’m always for national freedom f*** imperialism (which I know you won’t believe is actually my stance) but it’s f***ed how they went right back to it.
I got a Pro-NK documentary on the next tab waiting to be watched. I’m trynna gain perspective from both sides.
