He missed hard here. By his logic, would the employers not be at fault by creating an environment where a potentially deadly virus is simply allowed to wreak havoc on their workers?

Also, is he really pinning the entirety of recent mass resignations and worker strikes on a f***ing vaccine mandate? This is some Ben Shapiro level a***ysis lol

Wolff is a gimmick poster lol. No matter what, all his a***ysis will always come back to 1 or 2 points that he will die on. He has brain rot, despite having some useful things to say especially as a sort of introduction to marxism

Wolff is actually a pretty smart fella and has nice views IMO but he decides to dumb it down at times for his American audience which sometimes goes too far and causes him to say stupid stuff

I just think he's leaned too far into the whole worker co-op thing like he treats it as the sufficient condition for worker liberation. would never diss his overall body of work but his twitter is near completely useless

Yeah but IDK man he found his niche/calling and tries to goes as far with it as I can. I find his idea of saying "why are workplaces authoritarian when we purport to live in a democracy?" a very refreshing line that can radicalize liberals. So I don't mind it too much. Not everyone is gonna be Lenin, some dudes will have certain special topics they know a lot about or talk a lot about, like Zizek and ideology or Wolff and co-ops

you know what I find to be the funniest part of the whole "you talk about labor/universal programs/trade/wages/unions/anti-monopoly politics because you only care about the WWC" lib line is?

The funniest part of all of it is that fundamentally they say that s*** because they don't believe that minorities work (because if they worked, they'd obviously care about all of those above things). They believe the same exact thing that the Reaganites believed, which is that American minorities sit around collecting welfare and living off of the labor of whites all day, and have no interest in the economy (because again, they think that they don't partake in the economy, they just take from it). They just found a woke way to spin it to avoid coming to terms with the fact that they're acutally just selfish (and racist) d***heads that want the labor class in America (white or otherwise) to toil and suffer and never get anything good so that they can continue to go to coffee shops to write their s***ty PHD theses with two dollar coffee sponsored by mommy and daddy.
