people who traditionally cannot afford / access land (minoritized groups, people in poverty, etc.) are given land.people arent just given land for no reason though, people need to have land to grow food for the country and their community.
like the previous poster was saying, individual farming is hugely inefficient + takes so many more resources for growing food for the country, so traditionally the production + labour + ownership is collectivized .
so is individual family farming not discouraged? My ideal homestead has some goats, chickens, crops, maybe alpacas.
If not having to work a 9-5, no property tax, and I can keep my family land is socialism you can sign me up.

It depends on how you're defining socialism, if it's in the sense of socialism being the step to communism, no, if it's socialism being the final step, and there still being property rights and non state business then yes
