Capitalist fan boys will say “only people with nothing to lose want socialism” then turn around and spend 6 days a week at job that refuses to pay more than 15 an hour while their owner collects the profit and invests almost none of it back into the business.
Would there be salary caps in your ideal version of socialism? if not how would there be a classless society?
i understand that. but one person cant change the system. but starting a co op is one of the best ways imo
co-ops are nice, but you have to fundamentally change the system to have a meaningful impact.
You can have all the co-ops you want, but as long as we have a system that values executives and shareholders elusively and gives no consideration to workers, that capitalists will continue to shamelessly exploit the masses.

how many times do i have to explain to you what socialism is
cia propoganda has rotted so many of you f***ers

It’s not about eliminating classes or putting salary caps on anybody (although the class system in the US is pretty f***ing disgusting) it’s about a rebalancing of the economy.
When you raise the minimum wage and encourage workers to unionize in order to receive benefits and better work conditions. It forces ownership to invest more into its workforce rather than pocketing a higher percentage of the profits for themselves.

Communism is a moneyless, stateless, & classless envisioning of society.
Socialism is the stage before that when there still is a state
so is this not true? @americana
it is about eliminating classes
Yeah I guess.
I can’t wait until day I can put my ANTIFA tactical gear on and march in unison with my brothers and sisters towards gated communities everywhere when the revolution hit.
Yeah I guess.

that is what it is. a stateless classless society where everyone has basic needs met.
Yeah I guess.

it seems like youve still got some learning to do before then
that is what it is. a stateless classless society where everyone has basic needs met.
communism is the stateless and classless society
socialism is the dictatorship of the proletariat, which in a way it reverses the class organization of capitalism so that communism may be brought about
so is this not true? @americana
This is a dumb take. By the true Marxist / Leninist definition of communism, no country has ever been a real communist society. Just putting the word “communist” in the name of a country does not make it magically communist
it seems like youve still got some learning to do before then
Nah we good. We prepared to overthrow the capitalists pigs when time comes. Better ride the wave or drown when the socialist tsunami hits big dawg.

why this mans say communism isn't about eliminating class
Mfs wanna have socialism but wanna let the capitalists keep rocking at the top. Not how this works big dawg. The country club gotta fall first before it turns into a community and nature center for the youth.

why do you think there cant there be country clubs under socialism? i thought luxuries wouldn't go away?

Of course country clubs can exist under socialism.
When I say the country clubs must fall, I don’t literally mean burn every golf course to the ground. I mean as country when need to start prioritizing feeding hungry child instead insuring that every wealth person born into money has every luxury and extravagance at the snap of their fingers which is what we do now. It’s sickening.

A (modern) communist society has never existed. In the 60s, the leader of the USSR famously said that "in 20 years we will achieve communism" which didn't occur. If he says this, it means that he didn't consider the USSR to have communism (which is correct).
When we call them communist countries, we mean they are countries trying to work towards implementing communism.
Communism being a classless, moneyless, stateless society.
Socialism being the link between the current capitalist system and the hypothetical future communist system.
Marx himself used the words socialism and communism interchangeably which adds to confusion, but we use Lenin's definitions nowadays to make things clearer. Marx didn't differentiate between socialism and communism but between "lower stage communism" and "higher stage communism".
Mfs in America be worried about losing their freedom under Socialism, but work 80 hours a week and drive Uber on the side just to afford their basic needs for survival and ended up dying on the Amazon warehouse floor at 97 years old trying get a Poop Emoji pop socket into a shipping box in under 12 seconds after cutting their retirement short when their $50 in social security benefits ran out.
We living like this while European socialists over there vibing with a 4 day work week and buying homes with their silly little living wages.
Europe is not the paradise you think it is bro lol
