It's true that AOC and Zohran were let downs, but I think Graham Platner will be different. We shouldn't judge people for what they did in the past (3 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and another one with Blackwater), especially if their current platform is capable of doing good (taxing the bejeezus out of Billionaires). mfs have zero standards and/or are American exceptionalists who don't believe that the US military is inherently wicked. Imagine someone who willingly served in the IOF multiple times trying to run on a progressive platform, I'd imagine there would be wayyy more pushback and general awareness that the person is probably a wolf in sheep's clothing who will abandon all promises once elected.
