the communist manifesto
socialism: utopian & scientific
the state and revolution
capital
assuming you are american, "implementing it in your community" means building a militarized communist party branch and defending the marginalized people you know from police and Klan violence. just so you are aware of what's at stake.

Thank u for the reply. I stay in Texas. I’m aware of what’s at stake. I wanted to know if, when joining a branch in my area or even starting my own, there are books that can guide me? I believe they refer to those books as theory? i’m not sure

there's no "guide" so to speak on how to construct a revolutionary communist party. what is revolutionary and what isn't is always imminent to the contradictions of the current moment -- any guide would therefore be obsolete the moment it was published. becoming a proper dialectician will help you determine the correct and revolutionary action in any scenario, and I gave advice on the previous page on how to "get involved" without wasting your time.
what you can do instead once you have the fundamentals of marxism in order is study up on the history of revolutionary parties in the USA and how they interacted with mass movements of the oppressed, as well as the political economy of american settler-colonialism.
not too bad
!https://youtu.be/RqESHNvmP20I have not watchd the video, but I do feel like the Nazi's Middle Class component is over emphasized sometimes because its uncomfortable to talk about their mass appeal. Of they were first and foremost a middle class party, but they hit 37% at their peak! They found substantial support with blue collar workers, and the SA was effectively a make work program for the unemployed.

Take your time. Read those recommendations (capital is long. Depending on your reading habits, idk... its worth buying you can find physical copies at brick and mortar bookstores though, and it'd be a fun lil trip to the bookstore regardless, cop a few books if u have disposable income)
Marx really was just devoting his life to understanding how capitalism worked (amidst the industrial revolution) and we can clown on him a little bit by being a product of the 1800s (he said some silly s*** in his letters) on some of his aspects but at the same time creating a very strong foundation in which to assess capital where other marxists and associates built on.
Don't force yourself to feel like u have to understand everything in a short period. That's the same thing as thinking you should have an understanding of life at ten years old. It's f***ing dumb. There's a lot going on.

Maybe in left wing circles it's over emphasized, but in the mainstream there's still an attempt to pin Nazism on the rabble. They want to portray comminism and nazism, or "totalitaranism", as excesses of democracy.
You see the same thing today with "populism". Media has a laser focus on Trump's rust belt or "white working class" constituency, ignoring that his base is solidly middle class / petit bourgeois.
So I get what youre saying, but we should focus on combating the mainstream narrative which denies their success with people who've "pulled themselves up by the bootstraps".

correct, the class basis of fascism has always been an alliance of national bourgeois, petty bourgeois, and lumpen foot soldiers. the German proletariat was consistently on the side of KPD, which was a true party of the masses in its prime.
Is class consciousness truly heightening amongst the proletariat of the first world?
Is class consciousness truly heightening amongst the proletariat of the first world?
the gains organized labor has made the last few years might suggest that but there’s also a lot lacking imo
i think a lot of people are right at the threshold of class consciousness like a lot of everyday (not super political) ppl will make certain comments ("The CEO's are making millions and the workers are scraping by) about contradictions but might not be aware of the tools to a***yze it further
political apathy is default, now more than ever. Lots of dots that we must help connect to those amongst our communities
Is class consciousness truly heightening amongst the proletariat of the first world?
yeah the class consciousness of racist petty bourgeoisie

I think if you aren't a university student you are pretty aware how little the system gives a f*** about you and how brutal it is. People do care that their exploitation gets worse. These milquetoast unions in the first world don't get their members from nothing.
Non-immigrants broadly don't give a single f*** about imperialism tho at least in my experience

American comrades how big of an effect will the Haitian immigrant discourse have on general American sentiment towards immigration? Are most Americans buying it, I didn’t realize how big of a deal it was until the debate and Trump mentioned it
With the UK migrant riots earlier this year, and the Laken Riley murder as well here in the states
I hope we don’t see any migrants make the news. It seems all it’s gonna take is one crime involving a white girl and some black migrant and some reactionaries may hit the streets

Seeing the immigration discourse play out in real time the past few years is infuriating and it’s getting worse
At first it in Trump’s first appearance in 2016 the conversation seemed rhetorically centered only around “illegals” or “undocumented” peoples (of course the same racial implications were present) but Atleast the bourgeoisie and mainly conservatives could use the wedge of citizenship to stave off the continued demographic trends
But now it has steadily gotten worse since 2020 on all angles, the rhetorical line isn’t even really “illegals or undocumented” migrants online anymore it’s full on Great Replacement Theory, All non white migrants are bad
Of course the bourgeoisie don’t have a solution because this is the consequences of capitalism’s own logic, but seeing Trump and Kamala enact more and more policies to siphon more labor from the global south, all the while first world proletariat are being fed horseslop about how it’s the Jews fault and all brown people are bad
OTU is excited to announce that on 9/5/24, the tenants of Elevate Living’s Camelot Village apartments overwhelming voted to unionize, becoming OTUs second formal local. Camelot Village Tenants Union is following the lead of their fellow tenants at Fontenelle Hills Tenants Union and join the fight against Elevate Living for better living conditions dignity.
Camelot Village consists of nearly 30 buildings, and is plagued by the nearly identical mistreatment and neglect faced by the tenants at Fontenelle Hills. This past Friday, OTU and CVTU delivered our demands to Elevate, calling on them to completely overall the management of the properties. OTU and tenant captains at Camelot were able to gather nearly 100 signatures in support of the demands.
With a union representing over 200 tenants joining the struggle, Elevate will be facing increasing pressure over the coming weeks to meet our demands. Landlords will not give us the homes we deserve, we have to fight for them. Our most powerful weapon in this struggle is the union. By forming a second local of OTU, the tenants of Omaha have taken a large step forward in toward our goal of building a city-wide tenant union capable of combatting the landlord class and building a desperately needed independent organ of working class political power. This is just the beginning. In order to be successful, the struggle cannot be contained to just Elevate. Elevate is simply a notable example of the exploitation faced by all tenants in Omaha at the hands of their landlords. Where ever there are tenants, a union is needed. OTU encourages any tenant in Omaha interested in getting organized to reach out, and help us build tenant power.
Like we said, we are just getting started. Be on the lookout for more big news soon.
DARE TO STRUGGLE, DARE TO WIN
TODAY OUR HOMES, TOMORROW THE WORLD

the important thing is to empower migrant communities to get armed and protect themselves from police and Klan violence. these are the people who will reconstruct the communist party since they stand to benefit the most.

i know this is a tired topic esp. with people such as jimmy dore et al types, but immigration is really a great topic for western leftists to capitalize on. every time someone mentions this they get called a nazbol or they get angela nagle'd. that said, no true scotsman fallacy aside, "mass immigration" (conceptually) having clear economic faultlines (hell even literal libertarians and neolib economists admit this openly) is such a clear way to culturally reach a lot of the working class and garner sympathy for causes they may not even know are leftist. i'm not saying to make a red-brown alliance or something, but this is not even a "white" issue. go on black twitter and look at the growing resentment toward hispanic migrants (or, hell, existing hispanic citizens vs incoming migrants lol). this doesn't have to be an innately racial topic just because a lot of low IQ tards on twitter can't help but spin it that way
