Its been pointed out that those who defend nuking Japan by pointing to Japanese imperial crimes use the same logic as Al Qaeda did for 9/11, but at least Bin Laden justified it by saying Americans choose their government so they are responsible for its actions. In the case of Hiroshima the crime is simply living in Japan (like the 100,000 Koreans of Hiroshima and Nagasaki).
Yes but the difference is the US actually nuked Japan, the Japanese government didn’t fabricate the perpetrator. Bin Laden basically didn’t do 9/11, he just said it was deserved. And that wasn’t even really true, he changed his quotation like 10 times and it was skewed by the US to portray him as having said so.
We got bin Laden truthers itt we a diverse bunch
This isn’t controversial it’s just been memoryholed
one thing that is always insane about old videos is how men essentially look the same as they do now, but with different aesthetic preferences
women look like almost completely distinct beings from how they do now (unless they were basically alive then anyway). even if you go to like poorer countries or countries w/o as much direct western influence, women still do not look as they do in many older videos. really shows how much of the modern "concept" of women and how women present themselves is directly influenced by materialism and externalities. this seems to have primary started being a thing around the end of the 50s/beginning of the 60s.

Yeah few remember that bin Laden never took credit. There’s a Cheney quote about still trying to find proof bin Laden did it
and the fact that the Taliban was offering to give up bin Laden to the US if it could be proven that he did it. But this was totally ignored

He was never charged for it, and the 9/11 Commission nor any Intelligence Agency was ever able to prove that he did it. They took a mistranslation of him saying America deserved it as proof of the fact he was involved. This isn't even getting into the KSA/Khalid Mohammad stuff. There is barely any tenuous proof that any people who did commit it had any form of direct connection to begin with.
ChatGPT’s answer to my question:
Operating a business with communist ideals in a capitalist society can present challenges, but it's possible to align your business practices with your values. Here are some considerations:
1. Worker Empowerment: Implement more democratic decision-making processes within your business. Involve employees in important decisions, and consider creating avenues for them to have a say in company matters.
2. Fair Wages and Benefits: Strive to provide fair wages, benefits, and working conditions for your employees. Focus on reducing income disparities within your organization.
3. Profit Sharing: Explore ways to distribute profits more equitably among all employees, rather than concentrating them at the top. Profit-sharing models can help promote a sense of ownership and shared success.
4. Ethical Sourcing: Ensure your supply chain follows ethical practices and treats workers fairly. Consider sourcing from cooperatives or organizations aligned with your values.
5. Community Engagement: Support local communities by investing in community projects, local businesses, and initiatives that benefit the broader society.
6. Environmental Responsibility: Prioritize sustainable and eco-friendly practices that minimize harm to the environment and the community.
7. Transparency: Maintain transparency in your business operations, including financial matters. Share information with employees about the company's performance and challenges.
8. Education and Advocacy: Use your business platform to educate others about communist ideals, workers' rights, and economic equality. Advocate for policies that align with your values.
9. Collaboration and Partnerships: Collaborate with other businesses or organizations that share similar values. Building alliances can amplify your impact and create a network of like-minded businesses.
10. Long-Term Goals: Focus on long-term sustainability and growth rather than short-term profit maximization. Prioritize the well-being of employees, the community, and the environment.
Remember that finding the right balance between your ideals and the realities of the capitalist system can be challenging. Your business may not be able to fully embrace all communist ideals due to the constraints of the capitalist environment, but every step you take towards aligning with your values can make a positive impact.
