• Everyday Life in the North Korean Revolution by Suzy Kim
• Korea’s Place in the Sun by Bruce Cumings
• Race To The Swift by Jung En Woo
• the 4th chapter of "Drums of War, Drums of Development by Jim Glassman

No clue who that is and highly recommend staying away from “leftist YouTubers” entirely

Can I ask why? His videos are informative but idk as much about the scene as a whole

I watch fd but hes p much learning as he goes along. I wouldn't consider him 'the face of leftist YouTube' because that phase can leave a certain taste in anybodys mouth. hes entertaining and I agree with him on stuff. he is not a marxist-leninist

Juche is very interesting ideology to try to understand.

He's pretty solid, obv that utube s*** can get weird really quick but so far I don't have many gripes with him

Seems that his perspective has evolved since he began and in a good way imo

But obviously u gotta take everyone's perspective with a grain of salt in the whole content world and still know your own principles

Instead of getting them all from say someone online who makes engaging videos
