MESSAGE FROM EXILE, BY COMRADE BIG TOBACCO:
I think the ideological component of that Reddit advice thing you shared is that almost all of the examples provided suggest that the solution to one’s problems is to further atomize/alienate yourself as opposed to attempting to talk through issues with others. By extension, there’s this theme of misanthropy in which people are to assume the absolute worst possible explanation for a persons actions must be the reality. It’s promoting vulgar, anti-social individualism obscured by “self care” and lazy gestures towards “social justice”

to make it simpler i think one of the issues isnt just the externalization of issues or self-atomization but a sort of contradictory view of social morality. people want to believe in universalized morality while simultaneously claiming lived experience, and also want to believe in rigid individualism while also partaking in social capitalism. Everyone's an individual until an action removes their personhood in lieu of an implied ethical transaction

Everyone has lived the same experiences in a general similar environment. Shocker
