there's a difference between someone being trendy and actually supporting a cause for real.It's difficult to differentiate these groups, man. You're just generalizing, stay away from the internet for a while. Today's world is completely different to the eras you're referring to. There are ramifications of these eras but the average person in their 20s is more likely to be leftist and open towards different cultures than ever. The people I know are very much against any form of racism, it's just not the most powerful group at the moment but we WILL get there when our generation starts taking over business and politics. It's a long process and it takes a generational shift.
