    The site 100% would have crashed the entirety of release. KTT1 was falling a part and was basically neglected entirely until maybe a year after everyone had already left.

    KTT1 didn't even survive Ye release in summer 2018. I remember a lot of us went on a discord server cus the site wouldn't function the entire day through the listening party.

  • If I understand correctly, the old KTT forums were hosted and created via a forum hosting service, this new site is created entirely from scratch and hosted via some serverless host. Basically, S controls all/most of the functions and data on this site.

    Also runs way better.

    That mixed with the fact KTT1 was literally dying.
