And as socialism develops entirely then the distinction of classes becomes irrelevant because class society is thrown into the garbage bin of society
So then it’s possible the wage gap would still be significant. We would still have upper, middle, and lower class. Might still even have a 1%.
But lower class would just be able to comfortably afford rent and food.
That doesn’t sound as bad to me. Only problem is I would have to see what incentives there are to make more money.
The fact the term 1% is even popular is to highlight the preposterous wage gap/wealth privilege that was created by the prioritization of wealth hoarding over human beings survival...
The main point of socialism, and later communism is to eliminate such a gap, the reason we even have class discussions on the level we do is because the differences are so great while people are suffering extremely and the wealthiest have more wealth than it even makes sense for a person to have.
Also why do you need to make more money, if you already have what you need? How much money does someone need?
"Afford rent and food" lmao
He letting u know what socialism is don't worry bro he's bout to SCHOOL you

getting rid of classes is much easier said than done. even in a late communist society where money doesn't exist there will still be class divisions based on other things (occupation, level of contribution, etc)
but in socialism money is still very real isn't it? and for money to exist there must be things to spend it on otherwise it has no value.
right now I want to make more money to buy the things I need and also the things I want. even if everything I "need" was provided for me, it wouldn't get rid of my wants.
I was talking with another socialist itt earlier and we both agreed that it probably isn't realistic that we'll be able to provide the wants of all people free of charge, so I'm guessing we'd still have to pay for them. if that's the case then I'd always want more money even in a socialist society.

You clearly have no understanding of what class actually is
You can want more money all your dumbass wants. But guess what you get paid based on your productive capabilities if anything

I'm talking about answer the question of this thread
Ohh my fault I didn’t know that’s what you were asking, at its core it’s a tricky question but at this point , I just need to know. Are you a wannabe capitalist? Do you not understand the theory enough, are you fundamentally confused as to what socialism is? Apolitical entirely, blind to the facts, etc.,?
I simply want to know how one can live in this world, with all the failings of capitalism laid bare, and still not search out that better alternative.

because regardless of the current perspective someone has, people can't help discussing it, they feel like it's all their own ideas and can't wait to jump into defending it
Also you're forgetting decades and decades (maybe a century now), at least of American (and Western, at large) propaganda against socialism, so there are so many remnants of anti-worker, anti-socialism, anti-human rhetoric left everywhere in peoples minds,
There's no telling what any given person has absorbed of it
he is so upset they are paying 70 million over the next 2 years for somebody shooting 39% from the field

However the gap to bridge between that takes into account how common racism, xenophobia, classism, greed, isolation from each other, lack of education, lack of compassion, before one could really understand how the collective well-being of other people is good for them too
