Hell no.

This right here is probably the best example in the last decade of why graphic design is important.

Until AGI is actually achieved AI will never produce something that cuts through the noise like Gander did with their Graza branding.

Aesthetics and identity mean something.

Also AI comes with a certain baggage that a poorly designed flier or badly drawn chalkboard doesn’t come with. It’s just unnecessary in most cases and I can’t imagine it brings in more people than it turns off. It’s like hiring a known predator to design all of your stuff imo.

Ai is absolutely s*** at creating new and cool fonts

I’m talking moreso fliers and digital content than designs being placed on physical mediums

I never had a desire to go to any music festival but I always admired the flyer art

Even with that I already see people say all the time “if the flyer is AI I’m not going” and I feel the same way.

I’ve unfollowed a few places I used to frequent because they bombard my feed with unnecessary slop.

S*** I was just going over midterm candidates last night and I don’t even wanna vote for a few of those mfs because they’re just s***ting out slop.

Too many people have convinced themselves there’s something wrong with a simple flyer when that has worked forever.

I will avoid any business that I can tell is using AI for art until the day I die
