EtymologyKRS One first 8 albums beat Ye’s first 8 and it’s not close either. Scarface and LL cool J also has a way better discography than Ye.
First 2 are solid but everything after don’t have nowhere near the same impact as ye’s
For me, it’s Tribe, OutKast, Jay and Ye.
Kendrick is pretty close though.

No he didn’t rape her either, he’s accused of putting his fingers in her mouth during a music video shoot. His lawyers say it was art and she consented to the act. She says she don’t want to do that. If she didn’t want to do that it’s still deplorable but there’s a distinction we can use factual words to describe things.

Ye’s impact has to do with when he came out. The way had been paved for artists to be bigger
I think it’s a lot of recency bias in these type of conversations. All 8 of KRS ones early albums had major impact except maybe S***and Violence. The Blueprint is legendary and that’s his third

If we comparing Ye to artists of all genres, the weakest part of his music to me is his rap voice
