It’s asinine to require a covid vaccine for anything.

It doesn’t stop you from getting the virus and it doesn’t prevent you from spreading it. It just increases your chances of surviving a disease with a 99.99% survival rate to begin with.

I was all for doing my part and had no problems staying home to help protect vulnerable people, but this passport thing is just stupid.

You still can’t go around high risk people and you still have to do all social distancing. All they are really saying it does is prevent severe illness.

Maybe they’re just keeping the bar low because they don’t really know what all it is effective for, but based on what they claim, it hardly seems like something that should be mandated.

I think the biggest issues is the variants. We don’t know how well the vaccine works on some of the variants and if those start to spread, the vaccine won’t protect people and being infected previously won’t protect people. So if you stop taking it seriously these new ones can get a foot hold.
