Even if this were true, Kanye has been have controversy after controversy stack up. If this were a one episode of a mental health crisis, ppl may have looked past it. But he's been getting away with type of behavior for years already

He brought up being a racist dumbass in his youth and specifically mentioned how he was ashamed of it. The point of that story was that his past attitude and actions were WRONG.

Delusions aren’t a light. it an unfortunate reality. The things people say in mania being held to the same degree is damaging for the people impacted by the rhetoric and the perosn speaking it. It’s not right. I respect your view though.
I hope he get the treatment he needs and start taking his medication but once again real people get to suffer from someone's comments that help fueled and bolster right wing ideology. On a scale one weights way more than the other to me

Mental health is serious and you shouldn’t just give people passes because they have mental health issues. Kanye has a repeatedly spoken about Jewish people throughout his career with eye witnesses corroborating these stories. He may be manic but the mania is just heightening existing feelings.
he already didn’t trust Jewish people his mania is just making him express that more loudly and incoherently but that doesn’t make the beliefs he’s carried for a long time any less real.

People can have different delusions. Mine were that men were Truman showing my life and the world and I could only talk to women. Im serious. What if my delusions were taboo? Like I get liking the art but I hate all these excuses for the artist. This man is 45 years old, he can drive himself, wipe his own ass, cook his own meals, sign his contracts, put together this whole press tour but we're supposed to act like he's in a vegetative state and can't control his own words. Give me a break he's not an infant. Not holding him accountable would make his BD worse and embolden him
