for example i made a beat but couldn’t figure out how I wanted to flow on it. so my homie gave me a 45 second hook to show the melody and cadence i should use. the song is 4 minutes and his aspect he contributed i only utilized in the intro and the rest was from me with that idea in mind

this is lazy by Drake. all he essentially did was add his verse to the, again, already constructed synth portion of the song by Elkan at the end and his verse after the hook
