Apr 29cant blame em. hegemonic masculinity has been tearing the world apart for centuries. we have historically had (and still do) many privileges that they do not. i understand that there will be a certain level of resentment for us in many women.
that being said im not gonna act like bearing this weight doesn't become tiring sometimes. sometimes i gotta limit how much time i spend w my female friends, colleagues, co-workers, etc. these conversations over and over again get exhausting. also depends on the woman tho. if it comes up sometimes, totally fine. if it is every time, that is a different discussion.
but at the end of the day i respect the decision of women de-centering men in their lives. if i was a woman i'd prolly be moving the same.
