I support men's health and mental stability as long we as men hold ourselves accountable to ourselves. We support and drive this bullshit in the first place. If you can't tell your homies you love them without being called gay, then you are part of the problem.

@sab it’s kinda crazy if we banning users for saying ‘kys’ but not banning users for making light of the ways people actually kill themselves but that’s just me

Im not making light of anything. Im saying the stat is like that because men take more drastic measures like guns and whatnot

Yall think im blaming women when im not

So how is life harder for men than women if I can point out more struggles women have to deal with daily, more threats of harm to their safety, higher beauty standards etc, some of which can be attributed to men, but you can't do the inverse?

Suicide is still suicide no matter how
    you do it.

    Real life:

The first time I ever heard a conversation concerning male endowment was from (straight) men.

The first time I ever heard a conversation about how fit a man HAD to look was from
    (Straight) men.

The first time I ever heard jokes about men with short height was from (straight) men.

The first time I ever heard the belief that men couldnt cry was from (straight) men.

The person that gave me s*** for hugging my dad whenever he came to pick me up from school in the 7th grade was a (straight) man.

just cause women also grow up in this culture and some started drinking the kool aid, does not rid men of our accountability of…creating these rigid ass standards to begin with

    Crickets.

Explain this one shaq when you finish nitpicking suicide stats.

Again, ask yourself who has more power in determining the rules of society and you'll understand why bringing it up as support of "Life is harder for men than women" is stupid af

    real s***

is this kind of s*** only valid if the only effects u see have to do with who rules the kingdom and who has all the power ?

"Men have higher suicide rates" when men will clown other men for expressing emotion/being vulnerable or just don't express their emotions at all

this is internalized misandry. telling men to cry more in public or "be more vulnerable" or something to that effect wouldnt solve anything because its not treating men like men on their own terms but rather like deficient women this happens a lot in schools btw

How is there more threats to their safety when 80% of murder victims are men? Most violent crime is directed towards men. Yes it is mostly other men committing these acts. Women are more likely to face abuse from a partner or sexual violence.

Bro. Misandry won't affect you as long as you act like a regular decent human. Most men who worry about misandry are giving off anxiety or already got some stigma with women. Even the most toxic masculine andrew tate thrive ignoring the thought about women hating them. The "nice guys" or "I don't do anything to women" who worry about it get the most flack and suffer the most.

This pretty much. If you aren't a s***ty human being you have nothing to worry about.

A lot of folks itt are s***ty humans beings and are worried that their s***tines don't fly no more

    Also what grade?

Idk @Truly_Yourz , and maybe being at a private school that had zero tolerance for bullying (i’m talking you get expelled if they even sniffed something happening) because they actually legit cared about the little niggas played a part in this but…words really are just words if you are raised in an environment where you are allowed to explore the full scope of your emotions to know that somebody else’s mean words have no diabolical meaning to your own self worth and actually have more of a statement about their own self worth.

One time I ever had a bully in 3rd grade I shoved that nigga to the ground (I defend myself saying self defense, he pushed me first ) but also no one at that school liked buddy. Eventually he left that same year

  • Misandry is not real
Misandry may be real but we deserve it as men
Misandry may be real but it's justified
Misandry may be real but if you speak about it, it says a lot about you, loser

My point is its backwards as a man to say life is harder for men when most of our difficulties are as a result of men struggling with their emotions/to express themselves. And when you ask yourself who has had more power in most societies throughout history, you'll understand that the continued taboo of men expressing emotions was largely imposed by men. This could've been changed by men long ago but hasn't. And both men and women are dealing with the consequences

It's like modern white people in America/Europe being racist/mad at all the black people around them but like y'all brought them over there

  • The gender binary as we know it today was only emphasized through the rest of this world from one colony and by one gender mainly btw

yea no this is a public middle school. 7th grade. idk the nuance of it but if i can speak very frankly were like one of maybe 3 white families in a very primarily black and brown district, was a big problem growing up personally but i have much thicker skin than he does so im just worried about s*** like this getting into his head.

i made it out okay but i know not everyone is built like that
