The way snowfall combined cinematography and music was nothing short of spectacular. I saw a comparison of snowfall and breaking bad noting their differences and similarities. Both great shows but breaking bad didn't have swag like the scenes below

That zoom in on Franklin with Fantasy in the background

This one was too cold
Plenty more too. Whoever was in charge of the use of music for this series deserved an award
The wiki page for this show just introduced me some hilarious s*** about black culture studies at UCLA

Lol scene was dope yeah, but if yeah remember from the show, that was Lenny's biggest mistake f***in with Franklin
Actually it's not even funny but he brought it on himself tbh
70s/80s rnb/funk/electro had so much swag man.
I hate how unknown this show feels. I know a lot of people saw it but it just doesn't feel like it made the impact it should have. Also if I'm not mistaken the show didn't get nominated much less win a single award. I know most of us don't care about those award shows but still, since they have them anyway, this should have gotten some nominations of some sort. The show ran 6 seasons man.

Really, really great TV Show about the crack epidemic in LA in the 80s and the CIA involvement in Nicaragua. It follows 3 main characters, a black kid who discovers the formula for crack and is basically Highway Rick Ross, a CIA agent who is his plug for high quality cheap cocaine and is buying weapons from an isreali agent to arm the Contras and a Mexican luchador who becomes a d*** dealer.
"Its 6 seasons, 10 episodes a season, I watched it all in 3 or 4 days because it was so good and enthralling, honestly some of the best TV I've watched since the Lost/The Wire/Sopranos era. If you haven't seen this show and are looking for some quality entertainment I HIGHLY recommend this show, there's lots of interesting s*** in it and they really don't try to make the CIA look like good guys at all. They kind of take a more Burn After Reading approach to it but not as goofy.*
This sounds fire

Yeah, the come up and/or changes (in multiple ways lol) of the main character is very well done from the first season to the last. And like this thread was about, really good music and cinematography. Like a higher end, bigger budgeted, deeper Boyz N The Hood. Hopefully you guys give it a go when you have time.

If you're feeling that way I might have to join you in picking this up

Yeah this sounds really intriguing, didn't even know this show existed before this thread
this show really had 1 of the best endings & one of the best protagonist in a tv show despite some of the ridiculous s*** that happened in the later seasons
pride at the ending credits was powerful
