Don’t tell me they muted/banned you
Self mutilation
Was distracted too much
Compton was good
And Dre didn’t even produce most of it
Can't get jiggy with it either way
Just didn't click outside a few songs
Funny timing that Dre and Snoop are taking over the liquor business right after diddy got fried
Rip diddy
Rip jay z
Rip 2pac
Rip Biggie
Dre and snoop the ultimate goat of this era
Shady / Aftermath / Death Row / G-Unit / TDE
The Dre family tree is unmatchable ever
Dre probably next
lol you mean ghost beat makers. Dre was a certified producer. Not a beat maker. There is a huge difference. He curated the sounds, brought in the right people and made the greatest sound in rap history. Like Quincy, like Kanye, like Diddy :shrek:
Man made 3.5 classic NWA albums, Doggystyle and 2 top 10 rap solo albums + a ton of iconic hit singles. Not to mention it was a damn near 15 year peak--not like it lasted 4 or 5 years. If it was so easy to do--his ghost producers and writers would have his legacy, but no other producer comes even close.
I've seen it with Ye, Nas, Snoop, Cube, Dre, Em etc...Y'all love to trash rap legends due to their legacy act drops at 45+ years old and use it to reevaluate their entire careers lol show some respect to the GOAT
I don't know why people find this so hard to grasp
Even the beat makers dre employs all say the same thing
They're basically musicians, and dre is the orchestrator
Also for the 1000th f***ing time, if you can't hear the difference between the vocals on a dre production vs literally anyone else, then you aren't listening
did not like how the first two tracks started things off
Snoop & Dre sound good going back and forth on Outta Da Blue, s*** sounds fun
Hard Knocks
I actually f*** with this Tom Petty sampled track lmao, start of Jelly Roll's verse was eh but it all ended up working for me in the end. cool track actually I gotta listen to the OG lol
Pressure
bro Snoop flowing cold af over these tracks lol I'm more into his rapping than the beats rn which I did not expect
damn I like that first part of Sticcy Situation more than the beat switch, but it's dope as a whole
aye say mane. Snoop really surprised me on this album, he wasn't slackin on any of these tracks. the features were all pretty cool too. the production was actually the low point of this for me off first listen. but i had no expectations and this wasn't a bad listen at all. not nearly as impressive as what LL and Tip were able to pull off but man. shoutout to our legends still getting busy 3, 4 decades deep.
This is a nice fun album, if you don’t think so you probably went into it expecting too much
ehh this was a alright album few tracks are cool on here not a project i'd return to though.
the 50 and Em track was better than i expected. 50 had adope flow on it
that one surprised me cant lie
